Jim McCann of Francis Homes, LLC has a unique and diverse history as a Wisconsin home builder. He started out in the lumber supply industry and developed a strong knowledge of product lines. Always insistent on giving excellent customer service, Jim found himself helping customers tweak their home designs, making custom designs that fit their individual needs and desires.

Mere “tweaking” grew into a part-time job, which then turned into a full-time business. Customers noticed that Jim truly understood their needs and they began to pursue him as their Wisconsin home builder. Jim quickly became aware that his talent, skills and passion thrived when he could help others fulfill their dreams. Jim's becoming a commercial and residential home builder in southeastern Wisconsin was meant to be. With his wife Sandi at his side, Francis Homes, LLC, was born in 2000.

Specialist in Waterway Construction
With one-half of Francis Homes LLC business involving building on the water, Jim specializes in waterway construction, building new homes and additions along the beautiful Fox River and Lake Michigan. Having established a solid relationship with the Department of Natural Resources, Jim is completely conversant with the rules and regulations of waterway construction in. Details like the fact that Wisconsin new homes built near the water have different set back requirements depending on the zoning of your individual land parcel, and distance restrictions from the water must also follow any deviations in the shoreline.
